Mommy Upset with NBC RE: Men’s Figure Skating

Whoops, broken link… Sorry! Working Link: My mom is mad …. To NBC: Last night we watched the Men’s long program in Figure Skating. We were appalled at the rude and insensitive remarks from Scott Hamilton and Peggy Fleming. “He is out of his league or that was a disaster” is completely uncalled for and incredibly insensitive to the hard work that brought these world famous athletes to the Olympics. No wonder the Americans are often viewed as elitist. NBC should not provide this kind of insulting platform for two of America former gold medallists who clearly have lost sight of respect and dignity for their own sport. Tonight I want to continue watching but honestly, if they start insulting these athletes again…I am finished watching the Olympics and will watch their performance online.
Doesn’t bode well for NBC. Hopefully it won’t be the same throughout the skating. That’s BULL.
